2020 certainly was a very tough year for many individuals, families and businesses.  It was great to see the support in so many different ways from our Twin Cities community.  Help is help in any form.  We’ve all done what we can and that will continue into 2021.  I’m proud to be part of this food community.

One thing restaurants had to do was curbside pickup.  I’m sure it was not easy for a lot of places to pivot to that, but for us consumers, it’s fantastic.  We place an order online or over the phone, we park outside and the food is brought out to us.  How sweet is that!  I thought I ate in my car a lot before, but I had no idea I would eat restaurant food more in my car than I do at a restaurant or in my house.  I can’t wait to get back inside restaurants again.

I wrote 80 burger reviews in 2020.  74 of those were in the Twin Cities metro area , 4 in greater Minnesota and 2 from my Daytona 500 trip.

I do think more burgers were ordered than any other menu item.  I also think the food community played a part in that.  I saw so many awesome burger posts.  I’m happy to be a small part of that.

I also kicked off @tcfooddude.  It’s been pretty Nashville Hot Chicken heavy so far, but I’ll continue to expand that and try not to think I need to write as much as I do on my burger reviews so I can get more posts and more food exposure out there.

As always, I appreciate everyone who follows me.  I hope I’m still revealing burgers you need to know about.  I’ll keep doing what I’m doing.

Let’s all keep a positive attitude that 2021 will be the change we need so badly and let’s all keep doing what we can to support our local businesses.
