It was great to be back with @phatphood & @shawnsrodgers for our 80th #TCBurgerNight. We hit a great North Loop spot to have a drink, a burger and a few other pretty frickin’ awesome menu items.
This is your place for pre-gaming. A 2 minute walk to Target Field and a 10 minute walk to Target Center. But, if you are attending a concert at the fantastic Fillmore, Trax Burgers is only a few steps away.
Chef Corey Knutson has come up with a fantastic menu along with Sous Chef Carlos Robles.
I went with The Wagyu Marrow Burger. This is a gourmet burger. Wagyu quality brisket & ribeye beef blend. Cooked to my perfect temp. Rich and creamy gruyere cheese tops the patty. You will notice their triple cheese mornay that is dumped in massive quantities on the patty. You do want it dripping down the sides and it does. Don’t worry, plenty of it will stay on your burger. I’m a big fan of Nueskes bacon. It’s all over the menu and on this burger it stars in their bacon onion jam with a little bone marrow to enhance the flavor. They aren’t done. Some tasty truffle aioli makes it even more decadent. Onions, you ask? Pickled red onions are stacked up below the patty. I’m a grilled or caramelized onion guy, but these add a little tanginess to all of these flavors. It’s finished with a very good, salted pepper, brioche bun from La Marguerite. Soft and lightly toasted. This burger is fantastically funky.
