5.0 out of 5.0 stars

I’ve always enjoyed my visits to Stewart’s in St. Paul.  Especially the burgers that I’ve had each visit.  There’s a new burger now, and I was excited to try it.  This visit, I’ve got some friends, @shawnsrodgers & @phatphood, with me for a Twin Cities Burger Night! #TCBN

If you wonder what a 5 star burger brings to the table, I’ll be glad to tell you.  It usually has that something that hits you right away.  After my first bite, I was like, what just reached out and grabbed me?  It was the mustard aioli.  Not overpowering at all, but just enough tang to reel me in further, waiting to see what else was in store for me.

Another component certainly can involve a great cheese.  This house made, Velveeta style textured, American cheese, is fantastic and is involved every step of the way.  The most important component is the beef.  This juicy, flavorful, well seasoned and super charred, double pattied blend of chuck, brisket, and a little beef fat, definitely pushes it to an elevated status.  I loved the griddled onions, and the @pjmurphysbakerymn bun was buttered and perfectly toasted to keep everything in check.  You can add a few of the tasty pickles on the side as well.

Chef @turnermaxwell has created something beautiful and very delicious!  This belongs in your Top 10!

Thank you, Chef Max, for stopping out and chatting for a few.  Libby, you rock the house!  @stewarts_mn
