I was lucky enough to be one of the first to experience this fantastic burger back in August of 2018, shortly after Chef Eli Renn created it and added it to the menu. Chef Eli has moved on, but in situations like this, you always wonder if the burger will stay on the menu and if so, will it be as good as before? The short answers are Yes and Yes!
This is an elevated burger experience. The second picture shows just how juicy this burger is. The special steak beef blend is flavorful and melts in your mouth. American cheese is beautifully melted. I love the taste and texture of the whiskey onions. Their horseradish aioli certainly adds some nice flavor, but by no means overpowers in any way. The bun is buttery soft and toasted nicely. Did I want another when I was finished? Nope! I wanted another one when I was half way finished! It’s time for a burger stop at Park Tavern!
