I’ve hit @noloskitchen twice, curbside, but a #TCBurgerNight with @shawnsrodgers & @phatphood, required our presence inside.
The North Loop has no shortage of good burger options. Chef Pete, @_peter.hoff_ has an affection for In-N-Out Burgers and he created The Cheeseburger with that style in mind. If you haven’t had an In-N-Out burger before, head to NOLO’s Kitchen and you’ll get a good idea of what to expect.
Double meat, Double cheese is what you get. Two 3oz. patties from @petersoncraftmeats get topped with plenty of American cheese, melted nicely. A little more char and seasoning and it’s even better. Tasty caramelized onions make an appearance and sliced tomatoes, pickles and some Bibb type lettuce sit below the patties. The @turtlebreadmn bun is soft, nicely toasted and fantastic. No, I didn’t forget what they call “spread”. It’s fantastic and has its own “animalistic” qualities.
Make it your next North Loop stop. Cool bar downstairs and from what I’ve seen, a pretty darn sweet rooftop bar. Keep an eye out for some of the other menu items we loved.
