A rare Saturday with the Burger Boys, @phatphood & @shawnsrodgers, but this isn’t a #TCBN stop, it’s a #TCBH stop. We’ll be doing pop up Twin Cities Burger Hours to try and hit newer burger places and also classic burger places.
@tim_niver, @chefadameaton & @lolamagola have done pretty darn well with the cheeseburger over at Saint Dinette, so it’s no surprise this one has been getting talked about. There are similarities, but there are differences.
The two, thin beef patties have a great crust on them, they are seasoned beautifully, are flavorful and juicy. You will definitely taste the cheese right off the bat. It is very good, melted perfectly and has a unique taste. We asked owner, Tim Niver, if it is in fact, American cheese. He said it was “American cheese”, with a little smile on his face. The sesame bun from @pjmurphysbakerymn is soft, lightly toasted and good.
On the side you get fresh lettuce, tomatoes and some thin sliced red onions. I ate half the burger straight up and then added some of the fresh veggies. You also get a thick slice of dill pickle on the side.
You hear me talk a lot about the feel of a burger. This burger just has a really good, soft feel to it. It’s a very good burger! You are going to love it! It’s not a big burger, so no sharing.
It was great to meet owner, Tim Niver!
French Fries – very good!
