With the Minnesota State Fair on its last day, I was just thinking about how much fun it was and also how sad I was that it is ending for another year.  Then I stopped in for lunch at Mercy in downtown Minneapolis and the smile showed up on my face again.

I had read the reviews and expected this to be a good burger, but not this good!

The beef is charred on a flattop.  It is so flavorful and is one of the juiciest patties I’ve ever had.  The juice drips down after each bite.  They cooked this incredible piece of meat to my perfect temperature.  Make sure you check out the second picture.  It cannot get cooked any better!

Once I came down from my juiciness high, it had such a delicious taste from this special sauce that was melded in with these diced raw onions and a fresh slice of tomato.  If I want lettuce on my cheeseburger, I want it to be shredded.  It blended in perfectly with everything else.  The slice of Gouda cheese gives it that nutty and buttery taste.  Throw on a few thinly sliced dill pickles to complete the inside of this burger.

Now the bun.  This bun is close to perfection.  It is soft, but one thing I noticed right away and loved was the way it was lightly toasted, but the edges all around the bun had this perfect butter toasted little crunch to it.  Hopefully, you have experienced this.  This is what I live for in a bun!

I always ask myself this question, “do I immediately want another one”? Yes I do!!!

Put this incredible burger on your to do list.  I really loved this burger!

French Fries – Fantastic!
