So, I asked someone if they wanted to go to one of Tim McKee’s former restaurants, Libertine, in Uptown for a burger. They said, who? Oh, he’s only a James Beard Award winner! Tim has moved on, but this burger is still being served.
Yes, the Steak Burger is made from steak. And the steak burger is very juicy and delicious! Beautifully cooked to medium perfection! A buttery soft, lightly toasted milk bun holds the two slices of perfectly cooked bacon, white cheddar cheese, lettuce and grilled onions beautifully. Bacon Jam is swiped across the bun and adds a little more bacon flavor to this burger. The grilled onions are a nice addition as always. Overall, a very good burger!
