There’s been a buzz about the weekend brunch at Lela. What about the burger?
The beef is from Iowa. Yeah, I think they know beef. A good char on it, pretty juicy. White cheddar cheese is always a good choice. Pickled shallots and a yellow tomato sit atop the shredded lettuce on the bottom bun.
There is a good garlic aioli on there, and I would have liked even more. The lightly toasted Denny’s 5th Ave. Bakery bun does its job.
The Butcher Burger deserves a shot.
Fries – Very good!
Macaroni and Cheese – Good.
