I first saw the famous Holeman & Finch doublestack cheeseburger on one of the food network channels.  It was highly sought after, since they only made 24 of them starting at 10:00pm.  If you were the 25th, you didn’t bribe someone enough to get one.

Fortunately, Holeman & Finch has expanded to a couple more locations in the Atlanta metro area.  They are called H&F Burger.

I went from the airport straight to “The Battery” at Suntrust Park, home of the Atlanta Braves.  It’s a pretty sweet retail, restaurant and entertainment area surrounding the ballpark.  H&F Burger is accessible from outside the ballpark, and there is a place inside as well.  There is also a location in the Ponce City Market.

This double patty burger blend of house-ground chuck and brisket is seared on a flattop, has a nice char, and was pretty juicy.  It was seasoned pretty well.  American cheese blankets each patty, thinly shaved, stringy, red onions are a nice touch, and finally a few house-made b & b pickles are thrown on top.  The bun is soft and toasted.  This burger screams, meat, cheese bun, but I like the addition of onions and pickles as well.  It’s a very good burger!  Some day, I do want to hit the original Holeman & Finch Public House for their burger off that well seasoned grill.

French Fries – Good.
