Guy Fieri from Diners, Drive-ins and Dives called it an English Pub with a little Filipino flair. This south Minneapolis neighborhood pub is doing home cooking right. From Fish & Chips to the 5 spice pork, Asian Hangover dish. Throw in a few really good burgers, and I’m a happy customer.
The beef was nicely charred and pretty juicy. The aged Widmer cheddar was melted very well. They top that with some frizzled leeks (think onion straws). A tomato and some leaf greens sit atop the bottom bun.
They have this delicious mustard cream that they add on the burger that adds some really good flavor. The bun is soft and buttery. It’s a good burger. They have a few other burgers I’d like to try including the Uncle Bryan Burger which has the local Amablu cheese from the caves of Faribault, MN.
Take yourself and/or your family and stop in!
Fries – Very good!
Bacon & Onion dip – Very good!
Fried Pickles – Good.
