There are so many restaurant choices in the Mall of America, where do you start? You could visit any number of new places that MOA has added in recent years, but if I have a go to place, it’s an oldie, but a goodie.
Their Loaded Macaroni & Cheese has always been among the best in the Twin Cities, but I’ve also been a fan of their burgers. They’ve added a few very different burgers to their menu, giving you some great choices to pick from. This visit, I tried the Old-Fashioned Burger. It’s a 1/2 pound of juicy, well seasoned, cooked to temp, prime beef. I love that they added a burger with American cheese. The raw onions have a rough chop to them, which I like as well. A slice of tomato and some shredded lettuce sit below the patty along with their tasty 1000 island sauce. I had them add some grilled onions, which are more on the caramelized side, but had a nice flavor to them. I usually find their sesame seed bun over-toasted a bit, but I asked if they could put a lighter toast on it, and they were happy to do that for me. I think you’re going to like this burger!
Loaded Macaroni & Cheese – Creamy and delicious. One of the best in the Twin Cities!
Salt ‘n vinegar fries – Very good!
Homemade potato Parker house rolls with whipped cheddar butter – Very good! The whipped cheddar butter is money!
Garlic coleslaw – Very good! There are not many coleslaws I like around the Twin Cities, but this is one that I love.
