Al’s May Burger of the Month is not only a good one, it just might be his best one!
Here are the details on the Mesa Burger : 𝙎𝙢𝙤𝙠𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙮, 𝙩𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙨𝙢𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙂𝙤𝙪𝙙𝙖 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙨𝙚, 𝙂𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙜𝙡𝙖𝙯𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙖𝙪𝙩é𝙚𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨. 𝙍𝙤𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙥𝙚𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙞𝙤𝙡𝙞 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙧𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙡𝙖 𝙤𝙣 𝙖 𝙩𝙤𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙪𝙣.
The flavors are off the charts on this one. Does bacon belong on a burger? When it’s perfectly cooked, thick cut bacon, with with a sweet, smoky Guinness glaze, it sure does. You get two big strips of this magical creation. My recommendation, break off a big chunk of that bacon, and enjoy just how good it is on its own. I asked for a bowl of it after I tasted it. The 1/2 pound beef patty has a smoke seasoning mixed in with Al’s house seasoning blend. This is how a burger should be seasoned. He gets a really nice char on the patty and the perfectly cooked beef was Juicy AF!
Super thick, nicely melted, smoked Gouda tops the patty and joins the smoky party, already attended by the bacon and the seasoning. I love my onions sautéed. Red is the choice here.
The sauce on this flavor bomb is a wonderful, roasted red pepper aioli. There is an abundant swipe of it on the top of the soft, lightly toasted @dennysbakery bun. Al wanted something light and peppery so he put some arugula, just enough, on the bottom bun.
The Mesa Burger is gourmet and it is elite. It’s available throughout the month of May. If you rarely get down to the South Metro or if you’ve seen my @celtscrafthouse posts over the last 4 years and keep saying you need to get there, now is the time!
