It’s time for the November Burger of the Month at Celts Craft House. I asked Chef Al if he was going to bring back the Thanksgiving Turkey Burger since it is that time of year and I did love it. Al said he had something else in mind. After trying his something else, did I mind? Not at all!
If I’m going to sum up this burger before I describe it, I’m going to say the flavors awakened my taste buds.
The 1/2 pound beef patty is blackened with creole seasoning. It has a great char on it. You can always assume the beef patty is seasoned perfectly on any of Al’s burgers. It was very juicy as well.
One question for you. Does a burger need to have cheese on it? I love all things cheese on a burger, and I’ll always add it if I can, but this burger is a good example of when a great culinary mind has a plan to bring together certain spices and flavors, cheese isn’t always needed.
What tops the patty is something amazing called rich & spicy creole red sauce. It includes tomatoes, onions, celery, green peppers and creole seasoning. Does jambalaya come to mind? The flavors from this sauce will grab your attention. I want to put this on everything and dip everything in it! There is a generous amount of sauce on the burger.
What else do we need in this jambalaya style burger? How about andouille sausage? Al adds some absolutely delicious smokey grilled andouille sausage on top and also some grilled jalapeño slices. The toppings definitely star with the beef patty on this fantastic burger. As always, the beautifully toasted @dennysfifthavebakery bun is awesome.
If you need a flavor explosion in your life right about now, you’ve got a few more weeks to stop in for the Louisiana Creole Burger. I think you’ll love it. I’ll be back this month!
