For the December Burger of the Month at Celts Craft House, Chef Al was sautéing some mushrooms and it hit him. Why not make it a BOM?
I’ve seen quite a few Mushroom & Swiss Burgers on menus around the Twin Cities. Al puts a little twist on his by sautéing cremini mushrooms with fresh garlic. I’m a garlic lover and appreciate the addition of fresh garlic. It’s not overpowering, it’s just right.
Al tops the juicy, well seasoned, 1/2 pound patty with a mound of these garlic mushrooms and then blankets them with a ton of melted Swiss cheese. You won’t be losing any mushrooms during your experience. The Denny’s Fifth Avenue Bakery bun is nicely toasted and fantastic.
It’s a delicious, flavorful burger!
