I’m always up for knocking off Triple D’s whenever and wherever I can. The one and only Guy Fieri stopped in for a visit to this South Minneapolis restaurant.
Thursday means Twin Cities Burger Night, #TCBN, and despite being down a man, @shawnsrodgers , was off making something delicious look even more delicious, while myself and @phatphood tried to keep this burger train rolling.
I usually go with the signature burger and this time it was the Buster’s Burger. Prime Angus beef is always a good choice. It was cooked the way I like it and had some juiciness to it.
Their aged yellow cheddar was melted nicely and blanketed the patty very well. I felt like adding grilled onions and bacon. Good choice if I don’t say so myself.
I liked the way they shredded their lettuce. Their special “Ten Thousand Lake sauce” was generously spread on the bottom bun. The Saint Agnus bun was soft and lightly toasted, although with all of that sauce and burger juice, the bottom bun did get a little soggy. No worries. I enjoyed this burger!
Give Buster’s on 28th a shot.
Ellsworth Cheese Curds – Very good!
Hot Potato Chips – Very good!
Hand Cut fries – Good.
