Located in the historic Konsbruck Hotel in St. Peter, Minnesota, the 3rd Street Tavern believes that great things come in 3’s.  Those are Bourbon, BBQ and Blues, but I’m going to add “Burgers” to that list!  They’ve got a pretty good one too!

St. Peter is already a destination for many, with their shops and boutiques lining the charming downtown area.  But, power shopping can make you hungry.  I’ve got a hunger fix for you.  Bourbon or Beer, Brisket or Burgers.  They’ve got you covered.  The components to this burger are very solid.  The beef, cooked nicely, charred and very juicy.  You have the option to “Make it a Double”. Of course!  American cheese covers each patty.  A couple strips of smokey, smoked bacon, cooked perfectly, does little piggy proud.

The soft, toasted bun is a beauty.  The only issue I really had was the seasoning of the beef patty, or lack thereof.  The rating goes up as more seasoning goes on.  This is a good burger though.  When you hit that shopping wall, head over to 3rd Street Tavern.  They will take care of you.

Fresh Cut Fries – Very good!

Fried Pickles – Very good!  Eggroll pickle spears with pepper jack cheese.  Sriracha Ranch to dip in.  Try them!
